Group Collaboration

Collaboration is one of the ways General Oceans helps its brands do more.

Across the Group, specialist teams work in underwater sensing, sonar imaging, robotics, ocean data, engineering, sales and customer support. Each brand keeps its own technical focus and customer relationships, while gaining access to knowledge and capability from sister companies.

This means collaboration is practical, not forced. It can help brands enter new markets, combine complementary technology, strengthen customer support or create better routes to market. The examples below show how General Oceans brands work together while preserving the expertise that make each company distinct.

General Oceans Singapore office for Asia-Pacific ocean technology customers

General Oceans Singapore

In 2025, General Oceans opened a sales office in Singapore to support customers across Asia-Pacific.

The office gives Nortek, Tritech and Klein Marine Systems a shared regional base, helping the brands strengthen existing customer relationships and reach new markets. Located in District 12, Singapore, the office supports local staff and provides a platform for future growth across the region.

For General Oceans, Singapore is an example of group collaboration in practice: shared presence, local knowledge and stronger access to customers for specialist ocean technology brands.

WaveRadar Rex2

In May 2025, RS Aqua and Nortek announced their strategic partnership around WaveRadar Rex2.

WaveRadar Rex2 is a non-directional radar system used primarily for wave and tide measurement. Through the partnership, the system became available through Nortek’s global sales and distribution network, giving international customers easier access to RS Aqua’s technology.

This collaboration shows how General Oceans brands can use the wider Group to expand reach without losing their specialist focus. RS Aqua brought the technology and market knowledge, while Nortek added global distribution strength.

SRS FUSION

The SRS FUSION hybrid ROV shows how complementary capability across the General Oceans Group can strengthen a technology platform.

FUSION integrates a suite of specialist systems developed by sister companies, including a Nortek DVL for high-accuracy navigation and bottom tracking, and manipulators and grabbers from Reach Robotics for precise underwater intervention.

By combining underwater vehicle design, navigation, sensing and robotics, the system brings together expertise from across the Group while remaining led by Strategic Robotics Systems. It is a practical example of how General Oceans helps its brands collaborate when shared capability creates more value for customers.
