Collaboration at General Oceans
Collaboration is at the heart of General Oceans.
We have experts across the globe working together to build robust, reliable technology that solves complex problems in one of the world's harshest environments. We draw on the experience of those who have worked at sea for decades and the fresh perspectives of the next generation just starting out. The technology our brands produce is the outcome of conversations that cut across borders and boundaries, shaped by a belief that ideas are stronger when shared. By working this way, we’re able to create underwater tech that pushes the industry forward while serving the people who rely on it every day.

General Oceans Singapore
In 2025, we announced the opening of a sales office in Singapore, expanding our already extensive global reach.
The office enables our brands to build on existing partnerships with local customers, as well as gaining access new markets. Located in District 12 of Singapore, the office serves as a base for local staff from Nortek, Tritech and Klein Marine Systems, with plans for expansion.

WaveRadar Rex2
In May 2025, RS Aqua and Nortek announced their strategic partnership.
Under this agreement, RS Aqua’s WaveRadar Rex2 — a trusted, highly intelligent non-directional radar system used primarily for wave and tide measurement — is available through Nortek’s global sales and distribution network, giving international customers easier access to this technology. This alignment of product portfolios was made possible not through traditional consolidation, but through collaborative enablement.

SRS FUSION
The FUSION hybrid ROV was developed with a fresh approach to underwater vehicle design which exemplifies capability.
The vehicle brings together a suite of sensors developed across the General Oceans Group, including a Nortek DVL for high-accuracy bottom tracking and navigation. It also integrates manipulators and grabbers from Reach Robotics, enabling precise underwater operations. Each component reflects the expertise of different teams, and through this collaboration—combining navigation, sensing, and robotics— the vehicle becomes even more powerful.
