Oceanology has always been important in the ocean technology calendar and is a place where the global underwater technology industry comes together to network and learn. For General Oceans, it’s also an opportunity to bring our brands together in one shared space showcasing complementary technologies and expertise from across the technology group.
Technology from across the Group
At Oceanology 2026, the General Oceans booth will feature underwater technology and solutions from each of the Group's specialist brands, with some live demonstrations and discussions throughout the event. Visitors will be able to explore a broad range of capabilities in one place, from advanced sensing and sonars to robust subsea and operational technologies.
Oceanology is as much about relationships as it is about technology. To that end, the General Oceans booth will also host informal happy hours on both Tuesday and Wednesday evenings providing a relaxed setting to connect, share ideas and unwind after a busy day on the show floor.
Alongside this, we’ll be running an “Around the World” challenge across the booth. Designed as a way to explore the underwater technologies on display and engage with each brand, the challenge will see those who take part can potentially win a great prize and enjoy friendly competition along the way.
The brand within the General Oceans underwater technology group bring their own expertise. Displays will include Nortek's ADCP and DVL technology for measuring ocean motion and environmental conditions, Tritech International and Klein Marine Systems' advanced subsea imaging and sonar technologies, Strategic Robotic Systems' underwater vehicle platform complemented by Reach Robotics’ compact robotic manipulators and intervention tools, and RS Aqua's ocean science and technology distribution.
